Mahabharat!
Last night I happened upon this amazingly cheesy television rendition of the epic poem “Mahabharata”, which Vishal had actually watched as a child in the late 80’s. It’s FULL of terrible special effects, melodramatic acting, and (the funniest part) double, sometimes triple, re-usage of the same footage … over and over and over again! It’s pretty great.
